It’s no secret the music world suffered yet another lose recently, with the tragic death of The Prodigy’s front man Keith Flint. Following his death the band announce via their Facebook page, that all upcoming shows had been canceled. This left many wondering who would fill their spots on the Spring Festivals, Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple and Epicenter. Well, the organizers of the festival have officially announced that The Crystal Method will be taking the stage at both Welcome To Rockville, and Epicenter. The Crystal Method had this to say about joining the festivals.
“I like so many have been shocked by the sad reality that another iconic and influential member of the music community has taken their own life. I personally want to send my deepest condolences to Keith’s wife and family… and to his band mates. In the dozen or so times TCM shared a stage or played a festival with The Prodigy, I witnessed some phenomenal performances. Liam’s beats and propulsive sound was the sonic Fuck Yeah that so many of us old school ravers needed while Keith’s raw combustible energy and cyber punk persona served up the right amount of Fuck You to the establishment! I never really hung out with Keith and only had the briefest of personal interaction with him but he was always kind and I know he will be missed. #RIP”
Joining the stage at Sonic Temple Festival will be none other than Papa Roach. Front man Jacoby Shaddix had this to say.
“We’re honored to step in for our brothers in The Prodigy at Sonic Temple on Saturday night, They are such an influential band for us. We’re gonna celebrate, it’s gonna be a great night. We love you guys and we CAN’T WAIT to see you out there.”
Tickets are on sale now for each of the festivals, so be sure to pick your tickets up now before the next tier price update.
