November 26th, 2019 – Purgatory at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA filled with people of all ages to enjoy a show by southern grunge bands. Kirra, Lullwater, Otherwise, and Blacktop Mojo.
Out of the dozens of shows I’ve seen at Purgatory, this show brought some of the best energy and punch-in-the-face rockstar vibes. You can check out Blacktop Mojo’s newest album, Under the Sun on Spotify below.
Some of these bands have been around a while, and others were newer to the scene – but one thing they all shared was a passion for rocking out. Untainted by corporate sponsorships and massive ticket fees, the night was a good time for people from 14 to 64. Just having some beers, enjoying some tasty licks, and singing along to some rock and roll.
