When was the last time you’ve heard of a band Debuting in a Parking lot, while in the back of a box truck, Flash Mob style? And making an immediate impact on the music industry?”
That’s exactly what Jason Butler(Ex. Letlive), Stephen Harrison (Ex. The Chariot)and Aric Improta (Ex. Night Verses) Did just that on July 4th, 2017 at Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood CA.
This was their proverbial “Hello to the world, We are here now and we’re here to stay”. All three members, which are all known for being carelessly chaotic in their stage presence while putting every ounce of themselves into their live performances, are here as Fever333. Are you ready for a Fever?
Jason Butler posted a statement upon the announcement of the formation of Fever333 in an Instagram post. “To those of you who want change, here is an offering to start that conversation. I’ve had a lot of people asking me what I’ll be doing in the future—here is a taste of that.” he continued, “I love art. I love being a musician. I love progress. And I am no stranger to pushing back if I feel it is necessary. This will be an exhibition of all the things I love w/ like minded people for whom I care deeply. To all the tired, frustrated, and brave, come join us.”
They are a movement, they are about family, and they fully embrace the ideas of the three “C’s”- Community, Charity, and Change. They are behind the belief of putting in effort and considerations for others before your own self, and thinking about what you’re doing today that has an affect on the future. By using their reach through their music and their platforms as a way to bring awareness to the injustices faced by those who are considered the “minorities” among the population, there is the message to “Stand up for what you believe in, and for those who you believe in”. As their lyrics state “Stand Up, or Die on your Knees” and “We are the Majority” in their song “One of Us”
